Default The last football match I really gave shit about

was England vs Portugal.England mean more to me than United these days. The glazers takeover has taken the shine off any united match. In fact,I find myself hoping united will lose every game they play, just to get rid of the glazers.
I've been a Manchester United fan since 1968.

I enjoyed both of Ron's penalties vs Ingurlund.

Good WUM by the way. Anybody who wants United to lose is either a WUM or a part time fan.

I don't HATE England, but at the World Cup they played simply awful football to watch, so I wanted them out of the tournament.

I support United for reasons I feel no need to justify.

Maybe, but England had a succession of lesser opponents, and were woeful in their attempts to break them down. Trinidad, Paraguay, and Ecuador ffs. For a team of so-called "stars," it was painful to watch them play those games.

Errr, France, Italy, Germany................

You are either a WUM or a know-nothing. What other team took a player to the World Cup who at the time had never played for his club, and most certainly had neither played nor been included in the full international squad ?

What other team relied upon a beanpole as their secret weapon ?

What other team, when faced with the mediocrity of Lampard & Gerrard, would decide to play them both ?

I agree,England were painful to watch. But they WERE getting on top against Portugal until Rooney's red card.Dont agree?Look back at the game.
And as for the sending off,Rooney didn't do a deliberate %@#$&! stomp,he just took a step backward.

So, the team was shit. The manager was/is shit. Why do you follow the team of the ENGLISH FA ? The corporation led by----Brian Barwick. A shitty, useless scouser.

There is no logic in what you say. Why not support your local team if you've given up on United ?
