Their net spend since 2004 has been 3.9m per season. This is below the likes of; Stoke (£4.8m), Sunderland (£14.5m), Villa(£15.4m), Spurs.

moyes' record over the last, what, six or seven years has been tremendous. on that budget, everton should be relegation candidates and moyes has had them consistently the closest challengers to the top four. as coracao says, that is an incredible achievement. to put it into perspective, if hughes gets city into fourth this season after spending £#%&! knows how much money it will be seen as a big achievement and a success, correctly imo.
