Pogba is world-class in the same way that Veron was.
Criticising either of them because they aren't Roy Keane is missing their point. Mourinho should be building the team around Pogba and doing whatever he has to to get the best out of him. Starting Fellaini ahead of him in a must-win CL game ffs |

I have absolutely no doubt that he'd have rocked up at United and done the same. His budget may have been slightly less and the support on transfers at board level less aggressive, but he'd soon have sorted the wheat from the chaff. They'd have been coached to within an inch of their lives. They'd have been charged with playing actual football (albeit smothering and boring in it's own way) and anyone that couldn't hack it would've been £#%&!ed off sharpish, exactly as he has at City. The players would've responded because it's positive and would've suited the bulk of them as they'd come off LvG's management and philosophy which isn't £#%&!ing poles apart. He would've spent the money better, even if it wouldn't have been perfect. Whether we'd have had the progress they have had I doubt. But playing something resembling attacking football and clear progress in every respect would have been certain. I say all that as someone who is far from enamoured with Pep or his football in general btw. The difference between him and Mourinho is night and £#%&!ing day though. |

We bought potential and that's all he is two years on. He's not a 10, he can't hack it in a two and he doesn't pull up trees on the left of a three. He can pick out a pass and beat a man but as far as working for the team and striking up a partnership with the midfield there has been almost no evidence of that. |

But it wasn't long term doubts over his quality and character that Freggle didn't like. It was his unreasonable demands for guaranteed playing time.
I seem to remember everyone was pretty pissed off with Freggle at the time for allowing it to happen. "Drunken has been old soak" etc. Mainly from the same posters that are most offended by Pogba's attitude now, funnily enough. |

I guess my point is, he couldn't see the future either and he sure as £#%&! wasn't banking on it coming back to haunt us to the tune of ninety million £#%&!ing pounds, but he could see the present and he made the right decision for the day that was in it. Nothing more, nothing less. Anderson was £#%&!ing great as a sub that day btw Will Keane though ... |

how old were Rooney & Ronaldo here when we won the World Club championship? 23? 24? Pogba's 25 and supposedly one of the biggest natural talents in the game. How much longer do we have to wait before he turns in a half decent performance, never mind a world beating one? How old will he have to be? |

You couldn’t name 10 great games Pogba has had since his return, just how much do we continue to invest in him.... |
