That's the problem. People have now hyped themselves up into a frenzy and are now expectant as opposed to hopeful. When they inevitably get let down all that is going to give way to the predictable anger and low and behold they'll be out putting shop windows through and fighting with police.

There are obviously a sensible core of fans who are cautiously optimistic but at the same time realistic about what we can expect from this lot. However the hordes of people who have jumped on the band-wagon, accompanied by fans of dogshit small clubs who aren't used to seeing any team they follow go on a decent cup run have completely lost the plot, they have no idea how to react or keep themselves in check.

Following United and seeing them lose European Cup finals, FA Cup finals, the £#%&!ing league with the last kick of the season has at least taught us (well me anyway) not to ever forget that football is only ever one moment away from kicking you in the £#%&!ing %@#$&!s.

Hates Fergie and England does Pure. Went into a teleportation device with a 2005 copy of Red Issue in his back pocket and came out an amalgamation of both. Rumour has it he's wearing a Von Dutch t-shirt and Henri Lloyd trainers that he can't ever remove.

We’re in the semi finals of the World Cup with a more than reasonable opportunity of reaching the final and people aren’t meant to be hyped up?

If you could just let everyone know how much excitement would be appropriate that would be great thanks.

You make it sound like they're inferior people. Mate you could easily flip that around and say fans of so-called big clubs aren't used to seeing any team they follow not be in the hunt for trophies so they have no idea how to react or keep themselves in check.

I’ve stuck a few quid, literally, on Croatia to do it 2-0

They’ll go one up, England will get caught out on the counter and it’ll be over before the end of 90 mins.
