Great player but not sure he's a great signing. He's a prober and needs time. Can't see him getting much his own way over here. He is lightweight too for this league not to coin an obvious cliché.

Messi is lightweight before anyone says and I think hed be a success over here but he's rapid so he has a way around getting suffocated out of games.

Great news for United, looks like Lampard is on his way out.

Lampard would get more goals on his own than Essien, Ballack & Deco will get together.

Deco is a great player but not sure how he will adapt to the premiership.

He always performs under Scolari. I don't see how this is anything but a brilliant signing. Guess we can just hope it doesn't work out.
I can only go off what ive seen mate, i see a little bit of Spanish football and he just doesnt impresss me.

But it's just my opinion, hope im right, i usually am

Simply because he's in the last year of his contract - be a freebie next year.

Deco is a quality player, but I'm not sure he'll handle a wet Wednesday night at Ewood Park.

There's actually a degree of seriousness in that. Only a small degree mind.

Deco's a superb player but won't get anything like the amount of (mostly flukey, jammy, deflected) goals that Lampard would have got.

I really hope Lampard goes.

So Chelsea have paid £8m for Deco and Liverpool are paying £15m+ for 'Bareth Garry'...

I know Barry Gareth is younger but I often wonder where the vermin get their 'inspired' signings from

Spot on.

You'd have Deco every £#%&!ing time.Especially when your side is screaming out for some creativity.

I was never a big fan of Deco (I think it was more to do with him being snide rather than a lack of ability) but at this years Euro's, I thought he was outstanding. Portugal's best player by a mile.

Of course if he had signed for us, it would be, he's a fantastic signing great little player etc, which he is of course if a little injury prone in recent years.
