Default Andrew Cole on Fivelive now

in the studio taking calls/emails.

Just explaining why he and Teddy didn't get on

Turns out it was because when Cole made his England debut, nervous as £#%&! coming on as a sub, Teddy was the one brought off and just completely blanked him on his way off the pitch, no 'good luck' or anything.

What a @#%&!

Was that it? I thought it was cos Teddy blamed him for the goal in the 1-0 home defeat to Bolton back in 1998...?

So did I, but that's what he's just said.

Comes across as a top bloke actually, really complimentary about everyone, even Sheringham.

He did say good luck, it was just that Cole despite several attempts to hear and understand the 'good luck' message he completely missed it!

Anything apparently... other than telling him that his single 'Outstanding' was shite - I think he'd admit that too.

Andy cole is a legend. One of my favourite ever united players, ran himself into the ground for the shirt every match.

you can't lay the blame squarely at cole for that for christ's sake. you may as well blame eric for kicking that @#%&! at palace.
