We have switched the tempo whatsoever since the sending off, and have continued to try and play through the congested centre of the pitch. It took Carrick about 20 minutes to realise he didn't need to spend the rest of the game sitting five yards in front of his centre backs. He should have began dictating the play at a much higher tempo straight after the red card. Zlatan ended up dropping into midfield to speed things up at times, ffs.
Not a massive fan of Mata, but his intelligence and finishing may help us in the second half. Martial's willingness to run with the ball and play with some directness and pace will also be useful. Mata for Mkhitaryan and Martial for Lingard IMO.
Is Luke Shaw injured, btw? Darmian is a bag of shite - never a United player. Looks totally overawed whenever I've seen him in the shirt.

The problem is when we inevitably lose the ball on the edge of their area, we should immediately apply pressure but United are just allowing west ham's midfielders to bring the ball fowards. Crazy.
They're one set piece or long range effort from scoring.
