It's funny, all those Red Star players were shit when they went abroard. Darko Pancev was a disaster at Inter. Mihailovich was just about the only one to do well after leaving.

Also Dragan Stojkovic, who left Red Star in the summer of 1990 but played against them in the following seasons European Cup final, famously refusing to take a penalty against his former club in the shoot out. I think he managed four or five seasons at L'OM before going to Japan.

Fantastic player, but did his knee in at very early at Marseille and never really recovered. Lots of great footage on YouTube of his days in Japan though.

I'm sure Prosinecki's Real Madrid career would've been a lot longer and successful, had it not been for his own injury problems.
