Default RIP El Tel.

Terry Venables has reached his expiry date. Whispers about him coming to United before Fergie and during his early years.

Great character/cockney chancer.

An 80’s icon for me. Basically Frank Butcher. Farahs and Pringle v necks. Slip on shoes with a gold bar across them. Italian silk socks. Bracket and large gold pinky ring.

He had the absolute lot.

Ok BBC must have a decent source.

So yeah, he was £#%&!ing a former secretary of mine. Not when she was my secretary though - no - when she was 14 years of age and he was in his late 20's.

El Nonce RIP

Yeah in the back of his Jag ffs.

Heard it all in frankly too much detail. Thank god he's finally jossed it so i can share the burden.

Probably why he got that face rash.

He did have a very interesting life tbh - not even including grinchers, er, scoop

And his England team looked the real deal in a way they rarely otherwise did in the 1966-2021 period.

That's my point, it was maybe the best national side in a span of around half a century.

He had the 1996 side playing some great football imo.

What does stick in my mind around that period was the rumour that contract negotiations with Fergie wasn't going well and there was a possibility of a straight swap with the FA for Venables.

I don't actually believe it.
