I know its de rigeur on here to deride the women's game, but it is getting better and attendances are going up.

So yes, some people evidently do.

I watched the 2nd half and the quality was appalling.
Is it always as poor as that?

To be fair to them they are not usually as bad as that. My 10 year old daughter watches them every week and they are usually alright.

However, they are so far behind the big guns in Europe and Chelsea/City etc, They looked very slow and lightweight yesterday. The defending was absolutely laughable. To defend like that in front of a record crowd in the "Super Sunday" time slot took some doing. They had a chance to really show people what they could do and they turned in a performance like that. Awful.

Meh, at least you can laugh at the comedy defending, unlike when you watch the men and it just depresses you.
