Default Ben Foster on the Glazer protests..

"It's a distraction when fans do their chants at every game."

"The fans are passionate about United but sometimes they need to focus on supporting the club more rather than getting carried away with the technicalities of who is in charge. The Glazers have always put money towards Manchester United to buy players when needed."

http://www.manchesterunited.vitalfoo...e.asp?a=199482

Should get him a good reception next year.

Maybe he needs to try and concentrate on not being a shit goalkeeper instead of the technicalities of what the fans are doing.

Berbatov will come out and blame the GnG too, for his utter utter £#%&!ing £#%&! shitness at United.

Wont be any GnG next season at OT anyway....doing that and buying tickets would look sillywilly.

Ben Foster, United’s former 3rd ranked goalkeeper has claimed his 15 minutes of fame on his way out of the Old Trafford door by criticising the Green and Gold campaign for being distracting for the players.

Unfortunately for Ben, the Glazers and Tehsin Nayani, analysis of the results show that, if anything, the opposite it true.

The current round of protests against the Glazers was launched on January 16th at our home match against Burnley.

A comparison of the results for home games before and after this date (see below) show that the team scored on average an extra 1.2 goals per game and let in 0.3 goals per game less, meaning that whilst the Green and Gold campaign was at its height we were a net 1.5 goals per game better off.

Coincidence? Maybe, United traditionally do better in the second half of the season, but distraction, no, definitely not.

Who knows, if the Glazers had released their bond brochure to spark the protests off a couple of weeks earlier we might even have got that record fourth title in a row.
