That this House congratulates the Manchester United player Ryan Giggs on reaching the milestone of 1,000 senior appearances; notes that Giggs throughout his career has brought grace, pace, explosive power and lasting pleasure to spectators of the game and even opponents; further notes that he has been a sterling example to aspiring young footballers; and hopes that he will be able to extend his career past the end of next season.

you mean he was off form and lacking in confidence earlier in the season but has been superb since christmas - correct.

who knew this would happen


scholes is injured and will probably not bother next season if he can't shake it off soon. phil neville and beckham more than the freakish giggs might make him see that he can carry on though hopefully

He is perfect really. Won the lot, played 1,000 games and has been a great pro. And also got balls deep whenever and with whoever he wants.

Gorgeous has claimed to support a number of football teams in his time - I am sure that news will surprise precisely nobody whatsoever
