city away a couple of seasons ago when we didn't have a single shot on target.

strangely, the 2 cl finals we've lost didn't bother me so much.

I thought the second one was worse. Rome was a football lesson, you get them sometimes but Wembley proved we'd learned absolutely nothing. That we've only got steadily worse since then rather than better just makes it even harder to bear.

2005 f.a cup final V Arsenal.. Just couldn't see how we didn't win.
Any champions league exit: Porto, Milan and Bayern to name a few.
Any defeat at Anfield.
Any defeat to city, most notably the 6-1. And the 1-0 the other season, was already at a low when they beat 10 'men' qpr to win the league on goal difference.

The away defeat to wigan 2 seasons ago. That feeling of the league title slipping away to city

The Munich commemoration game was pretty galling to lose as well.

Seeing them lot galooting on what should've been our day

First home loss to them since 1974 and their first league double over us since 1970

One of our most proud records was the unbeaten home record in the derby since 1974 Law game but to lose it to that shite Sven City side that lost 8-1 to Middlesbrough was

Walking across Stanley Park and hearing Brian £#%&!ing Gayle score the OG that put Leeds 4 points clear.

£#%&!ing big nose @#%&! Rush scoring his first ever goal against us, the league lost and every scouser in the ground stood up arms outstretched singing 'always look on the bright side of life'

Nothing comes close

What are the games that £#%&!ed you up the most? Particularly interested to hear from people as old as no fun.
all the above.

Add Dortmund & Leverkusen away, Forest at home, Oxford in the league cup.

To both you and carlo, WHICH ONE?

The worst two for me, though, were Liverpool at the close of 1991/92 (still unbeatably awful) and Leverkusen a decade later - that SHOULD have been our year in Europe, nqat

(and yes, I am convinced we *would* have beaten Madrid in the final somehow - despite our generally crap record against them)

My 57 year old dad reckons bobby stokes was worse than the 6-1, my uncles reckon whiteside in 85 was better than the treble. Generations innit. I would've happily slit throats over arsenal in 98. That £#%&!ing @#%&! with the curly hair screaming like a @#%&!.

There was always a good chance that the pre-game hype would adversely affect us, tbh.

The ultimate outcome of that season mitigated it somewhat, it is fair to say. I am more miffed about how they totally and utterly robbed us in their home game that campaign, if anything

Losing 6-0 at Ipswich when we were pushing for the title.

Still remember battering Porto 5-2 but going out cus we couldn't stop them scoring.

A young throb may even have, in a certain light, looked as if he was shedding a tear the night Forest humiliated us 4-0 at OT as well.
