Shades of a prime Darren Fletcher in that goal IMO.

Looks a top talent. Januzaj, Powell, Lingard, Wilson.

I can remember Luke Chadwick setting the £#%&!ing reserves alight at one stage.

Makes sense, he had the face of an arsonist.

Yes and i'm certain that we've seen better strikers in the reserves than this fella, gifted as he is.

Rossi and macheda for two.

Wilson is quicker than them but with a fair bit less ability imo.

I'm not convinced by his touch and strength.

He could be Useful if a match is stretched but not if teams are sitting deep against us.

I will give him the benefit of the doubt and judge him when he is physically stronger.

Hopefully he won't go to that international under 19 tournament in the summer and can do some work in the gym.

Lee Martin comes to mind as well.

Fantastic in the reserves circa 2005/6.

Very quick, very skilful, really good player to watch.

I remember us playing a friendly at Celtic in the summer of 2006, I'm possibly kidding myself but he was superb that day in my eyes.

Honestly thought he would become a first teamer.

Scored in that didn't he?

Yeah it's hard to see who is and who isn't going to cut it at this level. And the farcical way we frittered away our 2011 Youth Cup team's still ringing in my ears, particularly Pogba.

I wish Wilson well though. Cracking shot on him all right.

I think he may of done, yes, though I can't be certain.

Was sent out on loan in the 2006/7 season with Richardson being kept as the third choice winger. :shakehead:

I think it would have been difficult to recover from that.

Came back for the 2007/8 season and played in the league cup defeat at home to Coventry.

Honestly haven't heard anything of him since.

I think he may have been taken by aliens or possibly didn't even exist in the first place.

Difficult to understand how a player of his seeming ability isn't playing in the premier league.

He would still only be 26 or 27.

Damn aliens.

Edit: Actually come to think of it he I'm not sure he played against Coventry.

Just checked.

Martin played the first half against Coventry before being taken off for Fraizer Campbell.

Dong played the full 90.

Martin never looked like being anywhere near good enough to me. Couldn't even tell you where he is now.

Wilson looks good. But so did Rossi, Keane and King. Someway to go yet.

Always felt Will Keane was a tad slow to make it at first team level. Wilson is a much better finisher than King too. He seems to have handled each step up he's made so far with ease so a good loan could be the next step for him.
