Bought as back up and has been decent as so. Arrived as a nobody, but has had his moments and is enthusiastic and dynamic, if a little rough round the edges. had a decent first season and could well improve. Wouldn't be looking to sell him at all.

Do you think he can be better than Fabio on a consistent basis? Cause either one of Fabio or Buttner will have to be sold/go on loan.

I've no idea. Both probably have as much to prove as each other.

There's plenty of room for both if we stop playing centre halves at right back.
