Default Mourinho's Munchkins

Could this be the season Jose shakes his abu youngsters tag?
A very strong pre season for the younger contingent in the squad getting mins.
Needs to translate to competitive minutes but the signs look promising for them all.

Youth was always a stick used to beat Jose but he seems to put more faith in this lot
Or maybe they're just better than he's had before?
Under Fergie was probably the last time we had such a talented group to integrate.

Something to be excited about for the coming season imo.
The Scottish Player and Perreira have been obvious highlights along with TFM and Axel
Easy to forget Rashford and Shaw are both so young.
Lingers and Pogba also ex youth teamers.
Love the production line we have here.

Perreira in goal is apparently also highly regarded by the coaching staff
It seems Mou really took the fans concerns about youth on board
Suppose the question here should be though:
Should Van Gaal get credit for leaving the youth setup in such great shape?

Axel is the test for Jose as that kid has to make it

If Jose can't bring him through then he really can't or won't bring youth team players through as Tuanzebe has absolutely everything you could want in a CB

Pereira more than good enough to be a squad option in midfield this season
The Scottish Player is the big surprise for me he never stood out as having a chance of making in the under 23s

Which proves we didn`t really need to spend £35-40M on Lindelof! Should have had the balls to play him from the start of this pre season.

He's 19 so you wouldn't want to put all that pressure on him to play every week but he needs games as a CB because his potential is huge

Let's judge Lindelof after a few months
Need to sell Smalling to make room for Axel to get games

Could have just stopped there tbh.

insert after which... in time may well prove (delete proves) that.

In other words it is quite possible that Tuanzabe may well prove to be a better option than Lindelof at CB.

Glad thats cleared up.

Rashford only played around 50 matches last season. He really doesn't like giving young players a chance imo
