Because tv companies don't pay hundreds of millions of pounds to not show the teams who will guarantee the big viewing numbers.

Used to get up at 5am to get to OT for the early Kick offs. Remember one year we had an 11.30am kick off against Middlesbrough and I had to leave the £#%&!ing house at 5:30.

Did that many many times. Some times back to back weekends and with a champions league game thrown in midweek as well.

But obviously you local lot would know £#%&! all about it, given it's 10 mins up the road. Easy life.
