Thought both books mentioned above were superb too.Especially Casuals, which i ended up reading twice.A lot of books written are £#%&!ing shit.The Brimson brothers have done some cack over the years, as have a few others.

yeah the ones that attribute football hooliganism to wider cultural politics are the best. How a generation is influenced by youth culture, football, music and more. Much better than just saying 'and then we beat the £#%&! out of them, then a couple more, then he beat me up' etc.

fred perry was a mod/skin thing which was before, lacoste shirts were described as "like a fred perry" so maybe that's why?
