Think about where they were at this point one year ago. Touching distance of the league, Suarez, Sturridge and Sterling playing out of their skins, captain courageous about to finally get his Prem medal, rolling teams off the park, genius manager who had a tactical answer for anything, vindication for Hillsborough, and us in their long awaited post Fergie season stinking the league up to high heaven. They glimpsed the rainbow....

Their angst much be overwhelming.
