That said its a good opportunity to see if gibson can actually play football with us. great shot, workmanlike performances but can he work the midfield the way we need him to. carrick and anderson playing brillient so should be a good platform for him.

If he cant then we need to replace him.

he's as immobile and sluggish a midfielder as i've seen. He's just not very good. Got a hell of a shot, when he hits the target, but offers little in the way of movement, passing or defensive play.
