we haven't even started playing yet we are still unbeaten only three points behind ...the Scouser to come back and maybe one or two new faces in january

Im surprised I hesitated a bit on the answer, would naturally say the points but im not so sure, we've had issues off the pitch all season and the most injuries of any team, pretty big achievement that we've still not lost, in any competition btw.

while being pretty much dull as £#%&!. not been a doomlord but we have been pretty awful to watch most of this season

I've mentioned it before, but still - but for that cosmic £#%&!-up at Everton we would be just ONE point behind now......

If that turns out to make all the difference come the end of the season, I shall be most royally pissed off

Thought the first month and a half was some of the best football we'd played for a while.

It all started going to shit after the Everton collapse imo and Scholesy dropping off from his incredible form. Midfield is the heart of the team, if you dont have anything settled in there the rest of the team will look like a mess.

First half v West Brom was good too. I'm not bothered about it though, its not like we have the personell to be playing good football every week, Scholesy is 36, Valencia is injured, Giggs is injured, Berbatov is a pathetic waste of time and space.

We've had issues in midfield for a few years imo, we were even duller in 08/09 season, while on a similar level of up and down last season.
