pretty decent without being spectacular, comfortably wigan's best player. neat and tidy in possession, creative and looked for the progressive ball to rodallega but often lacked options. too good for most of the players in the side at times, you could see him looking for movement and seeing none or making a run and not getting spotted. worked hard, good attitude.

he looked frustrated. who was it tried to make a perfectly simple pass to him and over-hit it down the wing?

anway, cleverly was seriously pissed off about it.
