Default José: Nu football is full of "Einsteins"

“I know that some football Einsteins – football is full of Einsteins – I know that they tried to delete 16 years of my career,” the Portuguese told MUTV. “They tried to delete an unbelievable history of Man United football club and to focus on a bad week with three bad results. But that’s the new football – it’s full of Einsteins.

“I can understand clearly the disappointment if the fans are disappointed with the last week. I understand completely but I’m sure that with the team going back home [against Leicester City on Saturday] they will be behind the team like they always are.”

Not last season he didn't. Never known the football world enjoy such a love affair with stats as last season.

People throwing up forward pass percentages as if they really knew what it meant.

"We don't score enough goals" would have covered it pretty well. Not statty enough though.

Absolute £#%&!ing state of this article. Really is open season on Mourinho.

So United could be in trouble if they lose a succession of games they have to play soon. Ok. Cheers for that.

Nothing gets clicks like a "united in crisis" story. Of course, they could nip it all in the bud by not playing like a bunch of drunken half-wits but that seems to have been beyond United for the last 3 years.

Independent at it as well :

"something about Mourinho doesn't feel quite right"

The media used to be all over him, IIRC ? I hope he was well prepared for the abu c***s when he came to us.
