tbh their end did have some little gaps.

Manchester United won the European Cup 50 years after Munich. Still don't think enough was made of that (it hasn't even been mentioned on this thread). Too scouse to harp on about it maybe? Still think it was an extraordinary accomplishment.

It was what I was screaming in my goon after Edwin's save...Then seeing Bobby lead them up... £#%&! me, was in bits.

We could have folded after that tragedy, so the wins since and going forward will always be a significant statement about the sacrifice of those attempting to win it and resilience of those who pulled the club through

Bad a tragedy as it was, could you imagine what we would have had to put up with had they won the league on the 25th anniversary of having their fanbase reduced by 96 people?
