Gotta try and deflect from the fact that his starting 11 cost nearly £300m and he had to bring on £200m worth of subs to beat Wolves' reserves.

Really disrupted the flow of the game last night to be fair. What with City playing with one ball and then Wolves having to use a completely different one each time we had possession. Unfair in many ways.

Please don't even try to compare the football played by Wolves with the football practised by Senor Guardiola's Manchester City. It is a highly calibrated artform and very sensitive to changes in initial conditions such as ball pressure.

Had a look at the Blue Moon verdict thread last night to see how their fans thought they played. First few pages were people, genuinely, congratulating Aguero for breaking the scoring record for his goal in the penalty shoot out.

They are definitely a good side. But any set of circumstances that leads them having to pick Mangala for several league games and they won't be winning the league.

Yoyo thunder@#%&! Toure isn't a fan either, the £#%&!ing tramp....

I don’t like it, to be honest. They can do better than that. It’s too light. Even in my country they can’t use those kind of balls. I think they have to be better than that because the ball was too soft. It’s rubbish, but that’s fine.

Idiot.

He’s actually spot on. The impossibility of scoring with that ball was confirmed by all the other matches in which it was used being nil nil

Apparently city made too many substitutions. They should have to replay the match surely?

Not sure we can accuse other teams of spending vast amount of money poorly.

It's a new rule apparently, you can make a 4th sub in extra time

Seems like a grey area. Rule says you can only make one substitution during extra time and City and Arsenal did 2 each.
They will both get off with it though

Not being funny mate but their players come back after breaking their ribs in car crashes after a fortnight.

Our players are out for half a season with hamstring strains.

Hypothesis in the past tense, since Guardiola said it the other day

Otherwise you could say "if Mourinho were to say this he would be slaughtered" (to mean if he says it at some point in the future)

English grammar is easy, I don't understand why so many people get it wrong.....
