Surely Mbappe would be a long term replacement for Benzema? Bale is injured for large parts of the season anyway so I'm sure they could fit all five into the rotation?

They have already made a few quid to cover it but Bale is 28 years old, probably at the peak of his worth. Especially after his injuries last year. Another year like that, a year older and the price is on the decline.
