Thumbs up Ronaldo = bit weird

Why didn't he let Tevez take that pen?

Very odd behaviour. I reckon in the dressing room after the game all his team-mates were doing faces behind his back, the big baby.

Nobody celebrated with him. Apart from Rooney, who slapped him.

does he not get a goal bonus? If he does he's a tight arse but with Christmas round the corner he probably could have done with teh extra few quid

I think we should sell him now before his value depreciates and bring in someone like Lennon or Duff.

I agree, it might be argued that if Tevez's finishing was worth a damn he'd have an OT hat-trick already.

I really hope he improves his finishing. He gets in more good positions than rooney does but still ends up missing most of them. Even his first goal, I though chance was gone...

Talking of rooney, was gutted that beautiful chip didn't go in. That leg break of the pitch almost broke my heart too.

Ronaldo is currently the top scorer in the Premier League. I suspect he has his eye on retaining that position.

He's also our penalty taker.

I remember Keane a few years back insisting Ruud took a penalty, despite Forlan wanting to get his first United goal.

Nothing wrong with it imo. Ronnie is the best penalty taker at the club and assigned that responsibility.

It's strange how he's a good peno taker, given that if you take the ball 10 yards back - he'd just drill it straight at the keeper or over the crossbar.

I would have let Tevez take it. Smells Like Team Spirit and all that.

Seriously, if you try to do that 'I'm stating the obvious, but actually being condescending' routine anymore, I'll slap you.

Yes, the penalty taker should take the penalties - but that's not the point is it?

As weeman rightly pointed out, Saha was given the penalty against Chelsea.

Yep he's on £25,000 a goal, can't blame him for taking it really.
