There is a link up the page showing that we have played with white or red socks as part of out first choice home kit in the past, not sure I see the issue.

I don’t mind the black shorts tbh

Reminds me of Blackburn away in the early 90’s

The shirt could do with some white just to break it up though and the socks are pretty shocking.

Well I see the issue. In our 140 year history, we’ve worn red shirts, white shirts and black socks as our home kit for 99 years. Until this season this was our home kit for 47 years.

Changing the home kit colours is just typical of what our club has become.

So for about 30% of our history we haven't worn that kit?

Mostly in the years when nobody here - even funners - had yet been born.

In summary, we never wore RWB during Newton Heath. We played in a white home kit for most of the 20s and the home kit was amended to red socks in the 60s before changing back in 1971
