Default Arsenals resentment of teams that defend against them

This makes me laugh. We saw little Cesc Fabregas having a go an Mancini last night after the match because he didn't like his teams tactics as City Parked the bus at their place and came out with a point. Now it's unlike me to back up City but what is this expectation that teams should have to play their football so that Arsenal can beat them? We saw the little #@&%! doing it to Leslie Hughes a while back as well, incensed that his team had turned up to make life difficult for them to score he decided to have a rant at him at full time too.

I'm told 606 was full of tosser cockneys using words like "disgrace" as well. It’s a game of football, if your team doesn't score its your players and manager's fault not the opposition. If it were the other way round Scousers would be decrying the nasty tactics of FC Utrecht (twice), Newcastle, Steaua Bucharest, Tottenham, Stoke, Wigan, Napoli, Everton, Blackpool, Sunderland, Northampton, United, Birmingham, City, Arsenal, Borussia Munchengladbach, Kaiserslautern and so on

What really is ironic is Arsenal had plenty of chances to score but unlike most teams when presented with a half decent chance on goal they decided to try and side foot the ball across the 6 yard box a couple of times to try and make themselves look a bit more like Barcelona before scoring and as we have seen before this season they ended up £#%&!ing it up.

On a side note I remember Mancini as a player and he was a £#%&!ing beast, he must have gone soft in his old age as the Mancini of Sampdoria times would have £#%&!ing smashed Fibreglass halfway across the pitch.

Looked to me like he was discussing the sending off.

Wenger said after the game that he didn't blame City for playing like that.

Tbh, it wasn't great to watch. I'd be pretty embarassed if I was a city fan. They've spent a fortune and consider themselves to be a top team (already) but they played with 10 men behind the ball last night for the whole game. Even the shit teams don't do that anymore.

West Brom, Blackpool, Bolton, Wigan etc... all try and play football and play each game to win. That is how football should be.

arsenal are one of the most, if not the most, predictable sides in the league. they have one way to play which is based around patterns of passing designed to get the ball into certain areas and create overloads. if a team is well organised, disciplined and physically up to the demands of their play then they are fairly impotent. they've shown it time and time again against us.

Not to mention any team managed by Sam Alerdyce.

Yes. Tried the same thing over and over last night, specifically in the 2nd half.

Felt sorry for Zabaleta tbh, even went to put his arm around Sagna and Sanga threw him off. Arsenal never had class, not under £#%&!er anyway and Fabregas is the epitomy of Spain and Arsenal's lack of sporting behaviour.

They've had 83 players sent off whilst Wenger has been in charge. That's pretty impressive to be fair.

They get the most in the league most seasons. But it's all the other teams that are nasty and dirty.

*tin hat on*

We can be a little predictable at times. Too much fannying around looking for the perfect pass/run near the edge of the box OR worrying more about keeping possession rather than trying something more incisive

Yes but we have a plan b (AKA give it to Nani), Arsenal don't.

Someone should remind Wenger and Arsenal how they played when they managed to win their last trophy.

Arsene Wenger invented football the day after that FA Cup match at Old Trafford where they tried to kick us off the park and then claimed we started it by showboating.

Everybody knows that.

Not for the first time either: FA Cup final, Cardiff, 2005 - the last trophy Arsenal won. I can't remember a more negative display by any team in a final, I think they had one shot in the whole game.

I remember that, the quite was sometghing like if you show disrespect you sometime have to expect a physical reaction. 7 days later and one of his powderpuff player's legs come off and he changed his £#%&!ing tune sharpish.
