Maybe he's just not that good?

Loads of players have looked amazing through the youth ranks at different clubs over the years. Maybe he was just a kid with good skill and flair to get by at that level against players his age. But when the stakes got higher, the players older, bigger and tougher, and the game faster and competitive it just wasn't enough to translate being a "wonderkid" to men's football.

He had one good month at West Ham over six years ago now. It can't be all down to attitude that his career has never got going.
