Results in the first few months were far better under LVG, and the quality of the football was never really raised as a major issue until his 2nd season.

HTH.

Well let's hope that Jose's tenure is the polar opposite of Van Gaal's then. Maybe he'll buy good and get better as opposite to buying shit and getting worse.

Think we all hope he will pal, weirdly obvious thing to say.

Would love him to win us a trophy too.

we've spent the previous three seasons up until now being mostly utter shit, save that good spell under van gaal in march/april 2015.

mourinho is a proven winner, but he can't just come in and magically transform us into world beaters right off the bat. yeah, people will point out that such a thing has happened at other clubs with new managers, like conte at chelsea, or pellegrini at city. but they have been in charge of already well established squads with one or two additions. our first team seems to have a mass overhaul every season.

moyes was a disaster. van gaal was a disappointment, but then his style of play was quite outdated. mourinho actually does need time to turn it around as he's walked into a club low on morale. pretty shit that we've thrown the title already, but in the meantime we have three cups to play for, all three of which we stand a decent chance of winning.

get rid of the shit@#%&!s, buy a right back and a centre back, have pogba, herrera, mata, mhiki, martial and rashford as the established front six and actually develop a winning mentality. we can bounce back. just not this season.

I mean the guy who can't score when a Watford player passes it to him and gives him a head start.

Ruud was still scoring goals in his last season, it didn't mean we weren't better off with Saha.

well, what's going on is that the vibe has changed in the crowd.

but the manager has won 9 of his last 30 PL games. sure, his luck stinks. but show me an unlucky loser and I'll show you a loser. he needs to stop with the mistakes. we don't carry the luck to hide them.

If we sacked him (can't believe I just typed that) then it's going to just end up being a never ending vicious circle...

We hated Moyes, so we longed for LvG.
We sacked Moyes, hired LvG and basically hounded him out, rightly or wrongly.
We ended up hating LvG, we longed for Mourinho.
We sacked LvG, hired Mourinho and people, who are armchair fans, have started the process of getting on his case, to the point where people on social media are demanding Giggs is hired.....

So what happens then?
We sacked Mourinho, hire Giggs, realise he's actually ridiculously lost and out of depth, hound him out and ruin his reputation in football and go where exactly?

We can't hire Guardiola or Klopp, for obvious reasons....
Ancelotti isn't exactly pulling trees up at Bayern and hasn't got excellent form in regards winning leagues.
Simeone? Nah...

There is nowhere to go from here. We are well and truly £#%&!ed if we actually did sack him, which I hope to God we're not that stupid.

One thing that is worrying is the mental aspect of this team....It is £#%&!ing ridiculous and infuriating how we always concede and shit ourselves when put under pressure.
We would have lost yesterday if it wasn't for Carrick's positional sense and reading of the game. It is extremely worrying

And you want someone who makes utter shit the bed substitutions like bringing on Fellini yesterday to cultivate mental fortitude? Good luck with that.

Jesus Christ, you're absolutely brain dead. If you were fired out of a cannon into a massive box of drawing pins, you'd still miss every point.

Have a water and a lie down, Thicky McDunce.
