That curse of rejecting Man Utd can strike even the greatest. Makes you wonder what he would have accomplished had he gone to United before moving to Spain. He'll have been remembered as the best ever, that's what would have happened...

Still remains the best player i've ever seen, I don't think anyone has matched his peak yet.
I guess China would be a good guess for his next stop. They're really developing the league over there in terms of big names. Didn't realise until recently that Marcello Lippi took a job there.

Yeah, you can hardly blame him for that money, insane.

His side won the Pro League too, something like 25 goals in 22 games for him

Good grief

Might be able to focus full time on his music career after another couple of seasons on tax free wages.

What's to say he'd have done anything better with us? We've struggled to keep Anderson off the piss and that's before he's even achieved anything.

It's a shame that he's a lazy @#%&!, should still be playing at the top level. But he'd still be a fat @#%&! playing without a club now whether he joined us or not.

Shame. For 3 years he was unplayable and better than anyone there's probably ever been. Certainly for entertainment value.

Incidentally, I was talking to one of the clubs ex-directors (he was a director at the time of the transfer) a couple of months ago and he's convinced that we'd have signed him if we'd have waited an extra month to sell Beckham.

Signed for Atletico Mineiro today, if anyone's bothered.

They finished 15th in Brazil last year. What a joker.
