i think any team that loses two wingers is going to feel it tbh. going into the season with nani, toni, ryani and ji-suni we looked very solid for wide players. there's not much you can do about losing two that way, and giggs will be back in a couple of weeks anyway.

Course, 4 bodies, plus Big Obes isn't bad, but Nani seems far more comfortable on the right. If he continues to impress there for the next 6 months or so, it wont be easy to switch him back when Valencia gets back.

Nani and Valencia both play on the same wing with Nani fluctuating between average and solid on the left. Nani is superior to Valencia on the right, but it would have been a crying shame to leave Toni out for Nani.

As for Park
He offers NOTHING as a wide player apart from energy. He has no change of pace, no guile or ingenuity - and I like the lad. The fact of the matter is that his last good game (good as in United standard good) for United was Barca home 08.

Giggs hasn't been a winger for over 2 years since he £#%&!ed up monumentally at Liverpool for their winner.
So we have 2 right midfielders. Very solid indeed.
