Probably pointed out elsewhere, but I don't think it's any coincidence that his first start comes as we deploy a 5 man midfield that offers a little more protection.

Despite the calls for 4-4-2 over the years, I felt more comfortable seeing the return of the 5 last night.

yes. His 07-08 stint was the most consistent solid performance of the role weve had in the last 5-6 years. He was class that season.
