It's about time the lad got 100% fit. He hasn't been right since Munich away.
He either didn't start or didn't finish all of the remaining games of last season.

I knew it was too soon when he came back. Not surprised, with the world cup coming up and the season hanging in the balance as it was, but it just £#%&!ing made it worse.

yep. tbh i suspect this is a bit of a smokescreen to give him a chance to lie low for a bit, have a proper rest, and work on getting his head together and his fitness back. he hasn't really set us alight for a few games now so it's as good a time as any.

he was on the bench with a £#%&!ing ice pack strapped to his ankle at Bolton, I'm guessing he's actually hurt his ankle.

Hurts me to say, but in current form - he won't be missed too badly.

truth be told i would play ole of old before rooney and that isn't just this season. not that i'm saying rooney isn't worthy but he's not as deadly as ole was except for last season.
