Probably 25-30 million is a "fair" price, bearing in mind he's a year older and has already played more games than Batistuta did his entire career, and is less than a seasons worth behind Eto'o who's 36. A note of caution is that Eto'o was struggling for goals at Everton at 32-33 and was released mid season having been a goal every other game almost his entire career prior.
That's not really a fair comparison.

The market is mental and Ronnie is Pele to Messi's Maradonna. You've listed eusebios and bobby charltons - at a push.

I'd guess he was worth 45mil. And that's assuming he's on the cliff edge of his career. 18 months of greatness and experience at the pinnacle of the game.

Excellent, so glad the days of judging a potential signing on footballing ability are long gone.

Key to United’s transfer plans to reunite with Ronaldo is main sponsor Chevrolet. They claim United’s front of shirt sponsors are willing to partially fund the deal to grown their brand in Asia
Makes sense. If there’s one place where we lack exposure is Asia.

God I hate everything.

Feels like every year it's Nike/addidas trying to make us sign a player and it's always bullshit.

If someone pays for Ronaldo other than through increased ticket prices, that’s fine by me.

Any Chevrolet link is a load of %@#$&!s. Sounds like it would make sense but doesn’t. Last thing they would do is put more money into the United money pit.

ex-united forward and current ballon d'or holder cristiano ronaldo continues to be linked with a return to his former club.

Mourinho added: "i think i should be the last one to add some fuel to the fire. Madrid is on fire, the results are not good and it is a club where i worked three years, i care about the club.

"to put some water on the fire, cristiano ronaldo is the kind of player every manager and every club wants but only one manager and one club can have which is zidane and real madrid, that is my feeling."
