I've not heard anything back from stretford dave yet, but I'll be hiring a push bike and cycling from Benidorm to the ground.

Madrid - The Spanish government and trade unions Thursday reached an agreement to guarantee minimum transport services during the general strike scheduled for September 29.

A quarter of local trains will operate, as will 20 per cent of high-speed trains, 10 per cent of national flights and 40 per cent of international flights.

Infrastructure Minister Jose Blanco hailed the deal as 'historic,' saying it was the first of its kind since Spain became a democracy after the death of dictator Francisco Franco in 1975.

The general strike will protest a labour reform adopted by Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero's Socialist government.

The reform is aimed at making the labour market more flexible. The trade union confederations UGT and CCOO see it as undermining worker rights.

I cant get a flight today because my flight has not actually been canceled according to the @#%&!s at easy jet, so I should find out today at some point whether it is or not, so if it is, its too late to sort anything else out and I will still lose my money for flight back because that wont be canceled and if its not then Im still hoping the flights are not £#%&!ed about too much so i can get to the airport on time but if they are on strike i dont see how the flight cant be canceled ........... Lazy £#%&!ing spanish #@&%!s

Edit, just found out easyjet have canceled flights to ,..Malaga,Alicante, Barca & Madrid with refunds available ! no mention of Valencia, you couldnt make this shit up

WHat time and from where are you lot travelling?

Just heard from a lad out there that people are going up with 2 & 3 vouchers but not being allowed more than one ticket full stop, no excuses, ID per person per ticket

Sounds like their will be a thousand plus reds at the turnstyle come KO, either makes for a war scene or with a bit of luck the police buckle and let everyone in to get them off the streets ............

Still apparently Home end tickets available though so reds will be in there while the away end is half empty

I Still gotta get there yet ffs
