I’ve been saying for months to the mrs I’ll be enjoying the euros and watching all of the games. Most of them I’ll probably just spend chilling, reading a book or on my phone, but Christ am I looking forward to the break.

Thumbs up

I'd quite like to see England win something tbf.

The world cup is asking far far far too much, so I guess this is it

Not really. I’ve got a feeling the quality of the games is going to really poor, given that the players are all varying stages of knackered, injured or coming back from injuries. Then you have the prospect of Covid hanging over every team potentially ruining their tournament.

Sort of hope it’s similar to Eurovision and all of the refs just give decisions against England. Would be funny.

I'd happily accept The Bet-Victor fourth place Trifle Bowl tbh

Like all international tournaments it'll get juicy after the 1st round.

Covid and low attendances is a huge handicap though. And then you'll have ITV and BBC making huge noise over players not 'taking a knee'.

Still, can't beat a Portugal v Holland or Germany v Italy on a summers night.

This is always the best part, for me. Just sticking the telly on at 2pm on a Tuesday and there’s a game on between two countries you didn’t even know existed 👍

Excited for football again.

Will probably quickly turn to apathy when I quickly lose interest.

Half.

I think the games being all over Europe spoils it a bit. I prefer it when it's all in one country or 2 countries joint hosting.

Just seems like it's just random games being all over Europe.

international football is rubbish. I shall monitor the form and injuries of united players and targets. no more and no less.

Can't wait for the opening game. Haven't been this excited for a game of football since last Monday.

2 out of 5 sounds about right to me, struggling to raise much real enthusiasm but expect I will end up watching most games as I normally do

Very. Everywhere here has gone football mental and there’s some great places to watch. Looking at the schedules it seems most games start at 5pm and finish about 1am so it’s going to be a heavy month.

Don’t think I’ve ever been less excited about a tournament, genuinely couldn’t give a £#%&! at the moment. No idea what the groups are, or who’s playing when. Might change when things get underway, might not.

Having it in different countries around Europe is one of the worst ideas ever imo.
