Plus he's on silly wages and a long contract. Much more than Rooney ever was. This is why Real are trying to get rid.

Edit

“Real Madrid and Gareth Bale have agreed to the extension of the player’s contract, which ties him to the club until June 30, 2022,” read a club statement.

Negotiations over an extension have been continuing for several months between Real and Bale’s representative, Jonathan Barnett, with an agreement reached a few weeks ago. It is understood the contract is worth more than £600,000 a week before tax with the buyout clause set at €1bn (£900m). It is believed to be one of the biggest in the history of the sport. That is the equivalent to around £350,000 a week after tax, more than the estimated £288,000 Real pay Cristiano Ronaldo

Yes, I find the idea woowar wouldn't be attracted to this sort of empty gesture rather endearing tbh.

I think you underestimate just how hard "Woody" is prepared to push for a "galactico" signing. To go alongside Nissin noodles and our official tyre sponsor. Show them where their money is going (apart from into Red Football Holdings link )

Signing this injured chimp would be a farce.

Get Greezy (and Vidal as word on the street says Jose wants him ) would ensure domination

Our squad is miles behind citehs in terms of depth and quality .

We need about 6 players in and 6 out . This chimp would blow the budget and spend his time in the physio room
