With the Mbappe thing about to move soon, i'd say Bale absolutely nailed on for United. But i'd only take him if he made it clear to Madrid that he only wants to join United and they don't try and start a bidding war. Given his superstar name i'd say anything below £80m would be relatively cheap in this market despite the injury worries.

Mbappers stays where he is, Bale limps through another season, United get Perisic, at best, more likely no winger.

Next summer, Bale on one leg available for £30m, Madrid get a loan off the council for Mbappe.
