His signings, unless we go down the route of poor Mou being given players he didn't want. 4 of his signings started today(and in Matic and Lukaku they were among our worst performers), after a near £400 million spend. If he is not failing in being incapable of getting the best out of the players then he has failed in recruitment.

He has, but I’m not having mitigation for people we know are never United players in a million years. If we let them keep slipping under the radar we just get more of the same, just under a new boss.

The players under Fergie were barely coached tbf. Phelan etc.

It is astonishing how well Mourinho has worked his narratives. He has done an awful job, but he still has large numbers of the fans accepting/defending his lowering of expectations in a way they never would have allowed from the previous 2 managers.

Going to have to start from almost scratch when he is finally binned, he has built nothing worth persisting with. Disaster.
