classy bastard as he is, he's been largely underwhelming. a few touches of quality here and there but I'd love to see him properly boss a big game like this

Darmain has shown some fragility recently.

Valencia also works a lot better with Mata down that right hand side.

Do not think it is as clear cut as some would think, Darmian has had some good defensive performances but he offers so little going forward, Valencia frustrates me immensely with how timid he is but still produces occasionally. Darmian against Arsenal creates some alarms possibly even though the set up caused many of the problems,
