Default The best striker in the world?

At this moment in time, who would you say was the best forward in world football?

Would you go with Eto'o, David Villa, Torres or Tevez?Or, would you choose Rooney, Henry, Adebayor, Berbatov or Messi (if you class him as a striker)?

Fire away.

I'm going for Eto'o.

Probably between Eto'o and Torres for simply the best out and out striker. Difference between them though is that Eto'o is part of a very good team in which everyone plays their part. Torres is a very good player in an average (in this context) team. His team are too reliant on him - a bit like we were in Ruud's latter days.

But I wouldn't swap Wayne Rooney for any player on that list.

it depends what you want from a 'striker' though

ie - when Ruud was at his best for us, I'd say he was easily the best in the world, but many wouldn't want him in their team

its him, Ibrahimovic (although it pains me to acknowledge that) or Benzema, nothing to do with Form, its just "striker" makes you think goal scorer and they are just that imho.
