Would've taken him a few times when he's moved, probably up to last summer, but at 35 with us trying to build a new team based on pace and movement with a veteran Rooney already on the books? Nah.

Saying yes just reeks of desperation tbh.

Falcao Mk II.

He'd be funny though. Even if his football is painful, imagine the bantz.

Oh deffo. If we're raising the white flag and giving up on rebuilding or challenging and accepting 4th as the absolute best we can do forevermore, then get him in by all means, if only to distract us all from the crushing reality of mediocrity. He's an old man, but he would still have the flashes of brilliance and madness.

Ronaldinho is a free agent too.. £#%&! it

I'd take him even for just one season.

The swagger of United would return instantly when we get back to having guys like Ibrahimovic bossing it.

RvP had it for one season but couldn't completely rid the Arsenal inside him.

No more pansies.

Turn up, dominate, £#%&! off.

No. He'd want to play every game and dominate all aspects of the team/club as usual. At 35 that would be nonsense.

Plus he doesn't get on with Van Gaal

Given that LvG doesn't have to run about on the pitch, not sure it's quite the same logic pal.

If he had the humility to be a valuable squad and team player then great. But he absolutely doesn't.
Just admit that old man Louis can £#%&! off and then we can bum ffs.

Zlat would be great craic for a bit. We £#%&!ed enough on di Maria and Falcao. Don't see why not at all.

£#%&! it: let him replace Fellaini. Big, strong, probably faster, scores goals, lifts spirits instead of crushing them.

Cool. Zlat in a 2 man midfield. Comedy is definitely where we're heading then

No 10. Stroking the ball around like Cantona.

Well, the reasons mentioned.

Always loved Zlat, but always knew I probably wouldn't want him at my club. Don't think people quite realise how big an influence he expects to have. Apart from starting every game and expecting to be the focal point of the team, he instructs the board at PSG about contract extensions for teammates. He famously told Milan manager Allegri that he "will not play with the Egyptian" in reference to El-Shaarawy, who was about 19 at the time and not giving him the ball enough

Mourinho told the world he was the best striker on the planet every week and pandered to him in Serie A.

Not sure he'd do it with this Zlatan, at this age and in this league.

Not remotely interested re the big man tbh, just wanted to draw parallels with LVG's finished, old-as-£#%&!, bad self. You know my tune.
