Manchester City is about to close the signing of Fernando Gago in exchange for 16 million euros. The target group would not pierce after the departure of Ruud van Nistelrooy, but the good supply of English and the fact of having more choices in staffing have meant that Real Madrid is very close to accepting the agreement and hand over to Argentina to the Premier. The British wanted to close the Kenyan environmental recruitment McDonald Mariga Parma, but in the end the Italians did not agree to sale, so they tried again the signing of Gago and this time the offer has convinced Real Madrid.

BBC ticker now saying he's not gone. What a usual bag of shit.

Although the talk of Robbie Keane signing for Celtic on loan is weird.

the sports media in this country is pretty pathetic at the best of times, but on days like today it is seriously £#%&!ing embarrassing. all the usual texts from JCLs on the BBC site, "my brother is a taxi driver and he's just dropped messi off at eastlands LOL". yeah nice one mate. i hope he £#%&!ing runs you over on the way back.

Weird in as much as he was transferred for £20m to Liverpool, then back to Spurs for approx. £15m, & now binned off to Celtic on loan. Who probably can't even afford his wages. & Spurs are trying to get 4th, so why would you get rid of the club captain?

He must be a right @#%&! in all fairness.

There was that... but he scores a fair amount of goals, and Celtic are shit. & Spurs surely would have still got good money for him in the Summer, far better to reach the CL & then £#%&! him off... still, if he's acting the @#%&!.

£#%&! it, who cares. I'm going home.

ledley is the club captain, keane hasnt played that much. defoe and crouch are the first choice. plus he obviously wants games ahead of the worl..., well he just wants to play i guess. plus the whole xmas do thing. there was talk of him going to sunderland which i think would have been a better move for him.

Real Madrid y City llegaron a un acuerdo para traspasar a Gago por 18 millones de euros, pero los ingleses necesitaban el consentimiento del dueño del club y éste no llegó a tiempo del cierre del mercado en la Premier.
please tell me this means city were just a tad too late?

I see Keane has been spouting off about being a boyhood Celtic fan.

He said he was a boyhood Liverpool fan after he joined the vermin.

There'd be a lot of people in Ireland who would claim to support Celtic and Liverpool/United.
