Not that I'm aware of.

Saw this on twitter though:

Quote:
Five FC Barca players wanted to swap shirts w/Scholes last night, I'm not making this up, Andrés Iniesta beat them all to it.
Quote:
They drew straws to see who would end up with it - Iniesta won, and took Scholesy's shirt

Two newspapers have reported that he's retired, but nothing official yet.

It hasn't been confirmed but it's pretty certain. He's having a testimonial in August. Why would he bother if he wasn't retiring?

I would like him too, we need to start building again and need no excuses not to buy players who are already good enough for united. I hope he takes a job at the club.

Fantastic player and talent.

Giggs had his at 10 years (as is traditional). Scholes has been playing in the first team for 17 years.

He's leaving.

We're gonna overhaul Barcelona by targetting Rodwell and Young....

On scholes, this:

Quote:
Ferguson must establish whether Paul Scholes is to end his playing career and if, as is increasingly expected, that is the case, one idea is for the former England midfielder to take control of the reserve team.

Even if Scholes can be persuaded to continue, however, Ferguson is aware of the need to bring in a top central midfielder. United admire Wesley Sneijder but are not certain an agreement with Internazionale will materialise. Luka Modric of Tottenham Hotspur has also been discussed at length.

He has confirmed he's staying in football when he decides to retire, he's already done some scouting for united when he was out after the head knock. Hope he does some coaching with the youth and teaches them how to make space for themselves.

I don't think I'll ever love another set of players like I've loved the 92 lot.

However, as someone who can claim that they played once against him at Cardinal Langley, I have a special place for him - he plays like most fans would like to think they'd play if professional.

What a player.

Even though he's pound for pound my all time United great, I think I'd like him to retire this summer.
I think we need a fresh start.
The central midfield has needed major surgery for a long time now. We just can't seem to settle on a pairing/system/formation..
Without the safety blanket of Scholes & Giggs it'd be interesting to see what kind of effect that would have on the likes of Anderson (& whoever else we bring in this summer)

Having said that, the thought of never seeing Scholesy in the shirt again is £#%&!ing heartbreaking

Disagree.. our only midfielder to show any class and composure on saturday night.

And, heaven forbid, what's so £#%&!ing calamatous about how Neville bowed out. Realised the time had come and announced it.
