wright is spot on. collymore does talk some sense sometimes, but the fact he comes across as a weapons-grade #@&%! at times is a far more likely factor as to why he isn't getting the kind of work he wants.

Agree with Collymore.

Collymore had a decade on talksport and hosted tv shows. He's not had a lack of opportunities, relative to his profile as a footballer and person he got more than deserved. Perhaps the lack of opportunities he gets now is because he's just a tiresome £#%&!er whose shtick is old.

There is certainly a subconscious racial issue within football. But does it apply all the time? No - Joey Barton is the same and he too is a certified #@&%!. What they have in common is they spend five minutes reading about a topic, then spend an hour shouting over everyone else while proclaiming to be an expert. All in the name of "I say it as it is"

Easy to agree when it’s not your money/reputation on the line. Sol Campbell is his other witness, a complete fruit loop. Everything to do with being ‘outspoken’, little to do with being black (as evidenced by Jennas and co finding work).
