bloody hell, that's pretty harsh. i bet the lads were taking the piss out of him all day and he didn't realise. still, on balance, it was probably deserved.

He wrote this about 2005 - basically a character assasination of Fergie and how he'd completely destroyed his legacy by staying on too long and would leave the team in terminal decline.


Saw him admitting on the Sunday Supplement how he, more than most, had learnt a lesson in writing Fergie off. I guessed he was referring to this book.

Looks like he didn't learn after all.
