Regardless, no Schmeichel either.
They were the superior side of that period IMO. Domestically anyway.

I truly believe if we could've put our 94 Double team out against them we'd have given them a decent game.

Domestic champions:

1990 - 1991
1991 - 1992
1992 - 1993
1993 - 1994

European Cup:

1991 - 1992
1993 - 1994 (Runners-Up)

Can't be arsed tbh.

The 3 foreigners rule meant that team never got a fair chance in Europe. Irwin, Giggs, Hughes and Keane were all foreigners under it even though their respective countries had no professional leagues of their own.

I think they could have won at least 1 European Cup if the rules had been as they are now.

Regardless, the premiership was hardly premier in comparison with Spain/Italy then.

Jesus Christ, did your Grandad hand down that riposte? I didn't think people still used that.

Ps - do you go on the Norway Travel packages?

Pps - if you 'knew your history' you'd know the abbrev. 'Man U' has been around longer than you've been having sunshines, hot dinner.

Mid-90s Juventus teams were the best I've seen in my lifetime. They should have had more European Cups to show for it.

Ignore him mate, he followed Southampton until 1996, and doesn't actually pollute United crowds outside of the ten square mile radius of Guildford.
