Vermin v Chelsea. That was their moment, the crowds greeting the coach, the Sky coronation £#%&!fest, the weekend between the CL semis where no one could have blamed Chelsea for losing, a 41 year old in nets, everything was set up for them.
That it was Gerrard's lip that set up the first was delicious, the break away for the second at the end was funny, and that result has given that club a kick in the balls it won't recover from for years. Gerrard will be haunted to his dying day. |
